Young explorers love to play and romp around at Carpe Diem. To help them “seize the day” to the fullest, we offer a wide range of toys and we’ve set up a play area featuring a digging station with diggers and trucks, various swings and a climbing tower, as well as table football facilities and e-darts. In short, all they need to have the time of their life!
EXPERIENCE
The Carpe Diem apartment is practically surrounded by hiking trails, and the ski lift is almost on our doorstep (100 metres away). This makes us the perfect starting point for your excursions and adventures on skis!
Alpinpool in Meransen
With a hot tub, infrared cabin and hydrotherapy shower, Carpe Diem offers the opportunity to enjoy a spa experience in the privacy of your holiday apartment. However, if you are looking for a pool where you can swim your laps and let the children splash the day away, then Alpinpool in Meransen is just the ticket – water fun is guaranteed for young and old!
The alpine pool is free of charge for our guests.
Exploring the area by bike
Borrow our electric bikes and explore the local views or cycle straight into the picturesque Altfasstal valley and let yourself be enchanted by its lush mountain meadows and woodlands. For a stopover, the Wieserhütte hut at the head of the valley is run by our brother-in-law, who will be happy to serve you refreshments.
Your ski-in ski-out holiday home
The nearest ski lift is only 100 metres away and – snow permitting – you can get there on skis directly from the apartment. Enjoy a winter holiday from a privileged position in the heart of the Gitschberg-Jochtal ski area!
The hiking area on the doorstep
If you’re planning to take exciting hikes in the Gitschberg-Jochtal mountains, our apartment will provide you with the perfect base. Several walking trails leading to some of the beautiful spots in the area lie right above Carpe Diem! For a stopover, the Wieserhütte hut at the head of the valley is run by our brother-in-law, who will be happy to serve you refreshments.

The local tourist tax amounts to €2,10 per person per day (children under 14 years are exempted).
Rates are based on a minimum stay of 5 nights. A €150 supplement for cleaning charges applies for shorter stays.

As guests of Carpe Diem, you will receive a complimentary Almencard plus advantage card and enjoy free admission to the Alpinpool swimming pools and saunas in Meransen.
Children under 2 years of age stay for free
Children from 2 to 10 years of age stay for €25 per night
Baby equipment (cot, high chair, nappy bin and baby bath) is available for free on request
To preserve the premium-quality furnishings in our apartment, unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that your booking will only be confirmed and become binding after you pay a €200 deposit, which will be retained in the event of cancellation. In case of early departure or later arrival, the booking will be charged in full.

The apartment is at your disposal from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
Other times can be arranged on request.
For cancellations made up until 1 month before arrival, we only retain the deposit. In the last 30 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 70% of the booking price. As an extra service to help you avoid cancellation fees, we offer travel cancellation insurance. For more details, see here. We look forward to welcoming you!
